My time at UofSC has opened the door to so many new and amazing opportunities! I've been able to study abroad in Germany and Thailand, do research, gain internship experiences, and meet amazing people who I am so lucky to call my friends. Forever to Thee! 

Impactful experience: 
I was so lucky and got to do Maymesters in both Europe and Asia. I was able to study sustainable development initiatives in Thailand, learn about the clean energy powering Germany, and overall experiences so many new cultures and customs.  

Enjoy most as a TS: 
Being a Top Scholar has allowed me to be a part of a community of amazingly smart, talented, and kind people. I am constantly encouraged and motivated by my fellow Scholars and all of the NFSP faculty. I will always remember my time as a Scholar for all of the memories I've made with other Scholars who I am so lucky to call my friends.  

Story: 
One of my favorite memories at UofSC was attending the Scholar Dinner my freshman year. It was so amazing getting to meet Mr. and Mrs. McNair, whose kindness and generosity allowed me to attend college and pursue my dreams as an engineer. I loved listening to the amazing speakers and hearing about the plans of the graduating seniors as well. It was so awe-inspiring as a freshman to hear all of the accomplishments of the upperclassmen scholars! For short years later and now I am in their place, getting ready to graduate and start a career. That first Scholar Dinner is a memory I will keep forever!  

Post-graduate plans: 
Lily will be moving to Madison, WI to start as a Technical Solutions Engineer at Epic. She will be working to develop and troubleshoot healthcare software for hospitals, doctors, and patients.
