Charlotte, North Carolina native Abby Edwards became interested in the health field as a teenager when her mom returned to school to become a registered nurse. As a public health student at USC, she developed a passion for health promotion from a systems-perspective. During her Master of Health Adminstration program, Edwards immersed herself in service and professional groups. She also gained experience as a graduate assistant with the South Carolina Hospital Association and Lexington Medical Center, where she has been offered an administrative fellowship following her May graduation.

Anna Dunbar became interested in health care management during her senior year of high school in nearby Irmo. She was browsing various programs of study when she discovered that a bachelor's degree in public health and minor in business would be the perfect foundation for pursuing a Master of Health Administration. Throughout her master's program, Dunbar worked as a graduate assistant at Prisma Health in their primary care division. After graduation, she'll join Prisma Health Richland Hopsital to work with their executive leadership team to oversee day-to-day operations as an administrative fellow. 

Always intersted in the health care field, Chase Jourdain did not discover the administration side until learning about it as a public health student at USC. He continued his time at the Arnold School as a student in the Master of Health Administration program -- gaining experience with Lexington Medical Center at their vaccination clinic and emergency department in West Columbia. Originally from Goose Creek, South Carolina, Jourdain will stay in the Midlands area after graduation -- joining Lexington Medical Center as a data analyst.

Nick Shiver's path to the Arnold School began with time as a cadet and football player at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He went on to complete bachelor's and master's degrees in philosophy from The Catholic University of America and spent four years as a seminarian with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina. Shiver became interested in health care because the industry was meaningful yet complex, and it offered a way to serve people in need. A May graduate of the Master of Health Administration program, he has already begun his new role as a financial consultant at Consolidated Planning in Columbia.   

A physician from Pakistan, Nadia Ghumman has practiced medicine in her homeland. Her experiences taught Ghumman the importance of compassion in treating patients, but she also felt the need to learn more about providing efficient care and honing her leadership skills. With support from her family, Ghumman completed the Master of Health Administration program, completing a residency in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and interning with Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. This August, she will begin a Doctor of Osteopathy program at the New York Institute of Technology's Long Island campus. 

Growing up in Aiken South Carolina, Hannah Price always knew she wanted to work in the health field. Her interests broadened beyond clinical practice as she discovered different aspects to the health care field. As a public health major (business minor) at USC, she volunteered at non-profit organizations to learn even more, ultimately staying at the Arnold School for her Master of Public Health in Health Services Policy Management degree. During her program, she discovered a passion for working with veterans and will continue working with the Dorn VA Medical Center after graduation.
