Research

The Arnold School addresses some of the most serious problems affecting the health of people and the environment, both locally and globally. The research and services performed by our faculty, staff, students and affiliated centers and programs are improving the lives of individuals, families, communities and diverse populations every day. Our researchers published a record 764 peer-reviewed journal articles in 2022 (See our most Recent Publications).

As our student enrollment, academic programs and faculty numbers increase, so does our research expertise. We are increasingly becoming known, both nationally and internationally, for our established and growing expertise in many areas, such as health disparities, policy development, stroke recovery, speech production/hearing, tobacco control, nutrition, statistical analysis, environmental epidemiology, food safety, nanotechnology, obesity and physical activity
