Our department offers a graduate program leading to the Doctor of Philosophy, with concentrations in the traditional areas of analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, as well as plenty of opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaborations and specialized classes in areas like biochemistry and molecular biology, environmental, forensic, materials, biophysical, polymer, and computational chemistry.

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers two degrees, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (B.S.C.). The B.S. degree is earned with either a major in chemistry or a major in biochemistry and molecular biology.
