The SCSC facility includes a GeniX 3D microfocus copper K-alpha source with a Dectris hybrid pixel array PILATUS detector.

The Electron Microscopy Center includes a Tescan Vega3 SBU SEM, Zeiss Ultraplus FESEM, Hitachi H-8000 TEM, light microscopes with digital imaging, ultramicrotomes and other support equipment.
Mechanical Prototype Facility
The Mechanical Prototype Facility provides machining, welding and fabricating services and is equipped with lathes, CNC milling machines, MIG and TIG welders, and other metal- and wood-working tools.
