Physical Activities Program

Part of the Department of Educational and Developmental Science, the Physical Activity Program’s mission is to help you become physically educated and enthusiastic about physical activity. We want you to choose to be active on a regular basis. We do this by providing instruction in rules, terminology, and strategy while we develop and enhance your skills in sport and exercise programs.

Courses

We offer more than 50 different courses taught by a combination of adjunct faculty and graduate students. Our talented instructors have a wide range of experience and knowledge, guaranteeing you the highest quality instruction. When you sign up for one of our Physical Activity Program courses, you will come away prepared to participate safely and enthusiastically in the activity of your choice long after the class is over. You can find links to full descriptions of our courses below. You may also view full course descriptions in the academic bulletin. Search "PEDU" to find Physical Activities Program Courses.

For questions about the Physical Activities Program itself, check out our most Frequently Asked Questions. Contact and background information on our faculty is also available.
