The Concert Choir performs each semester in Columbia, as well as touring across the state of South Carolina, and beyond. The ensemble rehearses 4.5 hours per week. International tours typically take place every other year, at the end of the spring semester.
Concert Choir was founded by conductor Árpád Darázs, who established the choir as a prominent international touring group. This tradition was perpetuated during the illustrious thirty-two year tenure of Larry D. Wyatt. The long standing legacy of excellence continues now under the baton of Alicia W. Walker.
