Education Series

We offer engagement with educational programs to foster positive inquiry and enable interdisciplinary collaboration. Our programs are available to students, investigators and team members who wish to gain state of the art research skills.

Program Components

  • Educational topics for students, investigators, and various research team members.
  • Pre-Award education will help investigators learn to navigate local and federal funding systems while being provided with grant submission support, budget development expertise, and overarching support and review.
  • Evidence-based inquiry assists all members of the research team engage with educational programs to improve research skills and enable interdisciplinary collaboration.

Current Series

Research Coordinator Discussion
A bi-monthly forum where research coordinators come together to discuss topics of interest and create a community of learning. Open to all Clinical Research Coordinators working at USC, Palmetto Health and the VA. 

Student Opportunities for Academic Achievement through Research (SOAR) Seminar
Introducing new student investigators to the world of research. Each seminar focuses on an important aspect of the research process, both basic and clinical. Created for SOAR program participants but open to all USC-affiliated students, faculty, and staff.
