  • The 2021 SEVT Case Competition winning team stands holding their trophy

Case Study Competition

The SEVT undergraduate case study competition provides students with an opportunity to use their critical-thinking skills solving real-world problems while developing public speaking skills, showcasing their talents for potential employers, building strong connections with peers, and finding mentors within their field of study.

The case study competition consists of team members compiling a 15-minute oral presentation to a panel of expert academic and industry judges. Competing teams will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. Competition begins Thurs., Nov. 17, from which the top team from each group (as decided by group’s respective judges) will be announced. The two final teams will present their solutions to judges Fri., Nov. 18.

Further details and the official undergraduate case study competition rules are listed below.
