Background
Russell Haber, Ph.D., ABPP, Psychologist, board certified family psychologist, is currently an instructor at the Counselor Education department of the University of South Carolina, and formerly served as director of the Counseling and Human Development Center at UofSC. Haber is licensed as a Psychologist, Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor, and Professional Counselor Supervisor.
Haber is an author and co-editor of the following books: "Dimensions of Psychotherapy Supervision: Maps and Means" and "Please Help Me With This Family" and over twenty scholarly articles that that have added seminal ideas in a variety of topics including supervision, consultation, therapist's use of self, experiential approaches, friends and other social network consultants in family therapy. He has served in a variety of long-term consultations with agencies such as the Department of Youth Services, York Place: a residential treatment center for pre-adolescents, the Willie M. program in Charlotte, NC, Lexington/Richland and the Greenville Commissions for Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Fort Jackson, currently serves as Facilitator for the Satir Family Camp, and is on the Board of Directors of the International Institute for Connections. He has provided workshops and consultations in Thailand, Italy, Belgium, France, Netherlands, Israel, Brazil, Canada, Azerbaijan, Republic of Georgia, Argentina, Brazil, and the United States.
