Ekaterina Rojas-Kolomiets of Geological Sciences received the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant, from the UofSC Graduate School
Sarah analyzes the physical dynamics of the Arctic Ocean including freshwater distribution, air-sea interactions, and parameters changing underneath the ocean's surface.
Chris is a master's student in the SEOE whose research focuses on remote sensing techniques for mapping the ocean seabed and analyzing the physical properties of water bodies by utilizing autonomous vehicles.
Curtis is about to complete his MS in Marine Science working under the advisement of Drs. Claudia Benitez-Nelson and Erik Smith. His research is focused on the processing of organic matter within inland waters.
Annie is a PhD candidate in the SEOE Geology Program researching ways to teach geology more effectively and better engage students with the discipline.
Madelyn is a PhD student working in Dr. Susan Lang's lab. Her project focuses on changes to carbon-based organic matter in water as it moves through the oceanic crust in places like hydrothermal vents

Kanyangarara and Fuente, led a team in examining the WASH services at more than 16,000 health facilities in 18 sub-Saharan Africa.

Heather defended her PhD dissertation on September 25, 2020 and will soon be joining Global Science and Technology (GST) as a contract Ocean Scientist for NOAA's Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR) within the Satellite Oceanography and Climatology Division (SOCD) in the Laboratory for Satellite Altimetry in College Park, MD.
