Study Abroad

Whether you're studying a language, learning about a culture, or trying to become a citizen of the world, the best way to do it is by experiencing it for yourself.

Programs

We are monitoring international travel guidelines to ensure the health and safety of students and faculty.

Our summer program in Tours, France will take you to a region known for fine winds, mild weather, châteaux, and their "pure" French that's free from regional accent. While you're there you'll take French courses taught by native speaking faculty at the Institut de Touraine. You'll typically spend 20 hours per week in class with excursions in the afternoons and weekends. While the program is open to beginners, we recommend that you've taken French 122 before participating.

Housing: You'll be staying in a single room in a family home that has been screened by the Institut. These homes are within walking distance to class or accessible by public transportation.
