Diving into Math with Emmy Noether
For the latest event showcasing the "AJI + Arts" initiative, we are hosting a play on campus on the evening of September 6, 2022. Attendees will be treated to a fascinating story in Diving into Math with Emmy Noether, a one-woman play with a rich digital arts component. Come see how Noether defied the gender constructs in early twentieth-century Europe, and in so doing, changed mathematics as we know it. Location and ticketing details are TBA.

Parking: To park near Longstreet Theatre, get there a bit early. First you can try street parking, then at Drayton Hall there are about 30 spots open by early evening. Finally, play attendees can park in the Bull Street visitor parking, but you will have to walk across part of campus (in front of the library) to get to Longstreet Theatre.
Longstreet Entry: You might think that walking up the beautiful front staircase and into the front door is the best way to get to the theatre space. Surprisingly, it isn't! To enter the theatre, you will want to go to the courtyard of the theatre.
