Dan Friedman provides leadership for University 101 Programs, which includes six academic courses, 240+ instructors, and 240+ Peer/Graduate Leaders.

Valencia Abraham provides administrative support for the University 101 Programs office as well as serving as the first point of contact for students, parents, and instructors. She assists with maintaining UNIV course schedules, preparing materials for courses, and much more.
Jasmine coordinates and assists with the logistics for faculty development events and assessment. Jasmine also manages the M. Stuart Hunter Award for Outstanding Teaching process and the UNIV 101 syllabi review process.
Bert Easter provides information technology support for the University 101 office staff and classroom support for University 101 instructors across campus.
Sandy Greene oversees the office's communications and campus partnership areas. Sandy also manages the University 101 Scholarship and chairs the committee for the Outstanding Advocate for First-Year Students Award.
Katie Hopkins leads the faculty development and resources areas. Katie is responsible for the training and support of UNIV 101 instructors and serves as the primary point of contact for new instructors. Katie also oversees the Graduate Leader Program. Additionally, Katie oversees the Transitions textbook, Faculty Resource Manual, SharePoint intranet, and Sample Course Plan. Katie is also the chief liaison with the Office of the Provost for the First-Year Reading Experience.
Ailie MacLennan assists in the recruitment, selection, matching, and training of University 101 Peer Leaders.
Emma Reabold is primarily responsible for the recruitment, selection, matching, and training of University 101 Peer Leaders. Emma also manages departmental administrative functions related to facilities management, IT, and event management by supervising the administrative support team. Within the office, Emma manages staff development, training, and onboarding.
Asia Singleton provides administrative support to the University 101 Programs office. Her role includes daily contact with students and instructors, assisting with fall and spring course scheduling, and budgetary financial tasks.
Keah assists with the management of end-of-course evaluations, surveys, and performance analytics processes for all UNIV 101 courses. Additionally, Keah assists with the department's external assessment, compliance reporting, and the assessment of UNIV 101 course learning outcomes.
Carrie provides leadership for course and program assessment and quality enhancement efforts within University 101 Programs to ensure a high-quality course experience, document program effectiveness, and identify improvement strategies. Carrie is primarily responsible for managing the end-of-course evaluation, survey, and performance analytics processes for all UNIV courses; the department’s external assessment and compliance reporting; and, the assessment of UNIV 101 course learning outcomes.
