About this Fellowship
Dissertation writing fellowship for PhD students in the social sciences whose research is engaged in issues of social and/or environmental justice and who support the Center for Engaged Scholarship’s mission to make the United States “a more democratic, more egalitarian, and more environmentally sustainable society.”
Fellows must be writing their dissertation during the fellowship period and have advanced to candidacy (ABD) by February 28, 2022. Applicants research should have political consequences.
Students must be in one of the following disciplines or conducting research inspired by one of these disciplines in an interdisciplinary program: Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, Social Psychology, Sociology
Award Value
$25,000 stipend (paid over nine months)
