Private Loans

Private student loans are nonfederal loans funded by lending institutions such as a bank, credit union or state agency. The terms and conditions of private loans vary from one lender to the next. The best way to determine which lender to choose is to compare loan programs. Eligibility is generally determined through an inquiry into your credit history and income. A cosigner may be required.

Below is a comprehensive, alphabetized list of private student loan lenders our students have used over the past five years. There is no significance attached to where a lender falls on the list, so please research all options available to make an informed decision. You are not limited to the lenders from this listing and may use any lender of your choosing.
