  • Evaluating Alternative Delivery Models for Arthritis Self-Management Interventions (PI: Christine Pellegrini, PhD.; Co-I: Sara Wilcox, PhD.)
    • This study aims to evaluate a phone-based version of the Walk with Ease program in adults with arthritis in a randomized controlled trial. Outcomes to be examined include pain, function, physical activity, depressive symptoms, self-efficacy, work loss, and healthcare utilization.

  • Physical Activity and Weight Loss to Improve Function and Pain After Total Knee Replacement (PI: Christine Pellegrini, Ph.D.; Co-I's: Brian Burnikel, MD., Brian Chen, JD, Ph.D., Daniel Del Gaizo, MD., Elizabeth Regan, Ph.D., Gabriell Turner-McGrievy, Ph.D., Frank Voss, MD., Philip Wessinger, Sara Wilcox, Ph.D.)
    • The purpose of the current project is to evaluate the effectiveness of the PACE weight loss program in adults after TKR in a fully-powered two-arm randomized controlled trial.

  • An mHealth Intervention for Sedentary Behavior in Pregnant Women (PI: Abbi Lane-Cordova, Ph.D.; Co-I's: Christine Pellegrini, Ph.D., James Cook, MD.)
    • The purpose of our research is to evaluate the effectiveness and perception of an mHealth intervention aimed at reducing SB in pregnant women.
  • Reducing Sedentary Time using an Innovative mHealth Intervention among Total Knee Replacement Patients (PI: Christine Pellegrini, Ph.D.; Co-I's: Sara Wilcox, Ph.D., Julia Lee, Ph.D.)
    • The purpose of this study is to examine the innovative approach of decreasing sedentary time prior to targeting physical activity in adults after TKR and determine if a remotely-delivered, mHealth sedentary reduction intervention can decrease sedentary time.

  • Phone Coaching as a Rescue Strategy for Early Non-Responders Enrolled in an Internet-Delivered Weight Loss Program (PI: Jessica Unick, PhD [The Miriam Hospital]; Co-I: Christine Pellegrini, PhD)
    • The aim of this study is to compare weight outcomes among early non-responders randomized to Brief phone coaching, Extended phone coaching, and Control over the course of an internet-delivered weight loss intervention in overweight and obese adults.
