Research and Teaching Interests

Dr. Hogan's research focuses on social communication in autism spectrum disorder, with an emphasis on factors that contribute to social communication development in young autistic children. Dr. Hogan is especially interested in understanding the relationahip between anxiety symptoms and social communication difficulties in autistic children.
