MSN Program Information
As an MSN student at South Carolina, you’ll have the flexibility to learn on your own schedule with our online courses. If you are enrolled in an advanced practice specialty program, you may be required to come to campus at least twice per semester during your clinical rotations.
All of the College of Nursing’s MSN programs confer your eligibility to apply for national certification examinations, such as AGACNP, FNP, PMHNP or Nursing Administration. However, specialty certification is not automatic and, in some cases, must be combined with relative work experience.
Admission requirements and application deadlines vary by program. See each program’s homepage for details.
MSN program costs depend on several factors. For estimated costs, view Graduate Programs Cost Estimates 2021-2022. For the most up-to-date cost information, visit the Bursar's Office Tuition and Fees website
Financial aid is available. To determine your eligibility, complete the FAFSA form on the university’s Financial Aid website. The College of Nursing also offers general scholarships. In addition, other scholarship and financial aid opportunities are available through The Graduate School and the university’s Financial Aid and Scholarships office.
