Staff at the College of Nursing play a vital role in the daily operations of a top nursing program in the country. 

Manages, prioritizes and coordinates the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies and Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies calendars to include preparation/provision of all information and materials for briefing the respective Assistant Dean on meetings and events; attends meetings and events as assigned. Manages all calls for respective Assistant Dean from faculty, staff, students, parents, outside constituents, and the public. Provides back up for: 1) Office of Academic Affairs student reception; and 2) ExamSoft and ATI exam proctoring. Supports the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Assistant Dean for Student Services in the absence for their administrative coordinator. Full description

Manages the Office of Research budget/accounts and is responsible for processing travel arrangements and documents for the Associate Dean and research faculty, and prepares payment requests, print requests, purchase orders/requisitions, supply orders, etc. for the Office of Research. Provides staff support to the Research Council, the Awards Committee and the Research Day Committee. Demonstrates skill in setting priorities and managing sensitive issues, as well as the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects. Manages pilot monies awarded by the Office of Research for collaborative studies and internal projects and the Cancer Survivorship Center budget.. Full description

Manages all calls and welcomes all guests for the Center for Nursing Leadership (CNL); supports Directors’ to include preparation and provision of all information and materials for meetings and events; responsible for administrative duties for the Directors’ to include but not limited to preparing general correspondence, maintaining office files, drafting letters, emails and reports. Assists with mailings, newsletters, and other forms of communication. Provides oversight for budget management to include all financial transactions. Prepares, verifies, and reconciles business transaction paperwork to include but not limited to DEVs, Purchase Requisition/Orders, Deposits, and Journal Entries. Full description
