The Graduate School Ombuds serves as a neutral, informal, and independent resource for graduate students to discuss problems, concerns, or conflicts.

The Graduate School Ombuds strives for impartiality, fairness, and objectivity in the treatment of graduate students and consideration of their concerns. The Ombuds advocates for fair and equitably administered processes but does not advise students or advocate on behalf of the student.

Ombuds as Mandatory Report

Please note: The Graduate School Ombuds has been designated as a mandatory reporter for Title IX & Civil Rights violations, including discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and other incidents of prohibited conduct per University policy.
