Earning a college degree is an important first step toward a successful career, but
with the pace of technological change these days, it's hard to know exactly where
your path will lead. Our B.S. degrees will provide the solid foundation you need
to succeed no matter where your curiosity, drive and ambition lead you.
There are three ways to earn a B.S. degree in our department: by majoring in chemistry,
by fulfilling the more rigorous ACS certification requirements or by majoring in biochemistry
and molecular biology. The course requirements can be readily met in four years,
and even sooner with the right Advanced Placement (AP) credits.
* This degree has all the requirements for ACS Certification built into it.
