Research
Dr. Bornstein researches trigonometry education. Specifically, he seeks to identify
critical stages of development for individual lesson topics. He has developed a MATLAB
program to help teach graphical transformations of trigonometric functions by simultaneously
displaying multiple external representations, including audio.
