Student Government Senator

 

What to Expect

Student Senators draft legislation, defend legislation, meet weekly with committees, attend weekly senate sessions, and meet with their colleges/student organizations. Senators serve on committees based on their interests, including academics, student life, sustainability, equity and inclusion.

This engagement qualifies for these special designations:

  • Option to appear on UofSC Experience extended transcript

Term: Fall 2021

 

Requirements

Time Commitment: 45-59 hours
Who Can Participate: Elected by peers within the organization
Minimum Credit Hours: No requirements for credit hours or years completed
Minimum GPA:  No requirements for credit hours or years completed
Other Requirements No additional requirements
