Health Care in Action


What to Expect

Students listen to and observe experts in health care, participate in a variety of activities including assisting with medical and/or research projects, escorting patients to exam rooms, observing patient interactions, and providing general administrative support in a clinical health care setting.

This engagement qualifies for these special designations:

  • Option to appear on UofSC Experience extended transcript

Term: Fall 2021



Time Commitment: 90 - 119 hours
Who Can Participate: Any students with required credentials (such as GPA, hours earned) can participate
Minimum Credit Hours: 30 hours or 1 year completed at any college
Minimum GPA:  30 hours or 1 year completed at any college
Other Requirements Course - concurrent enrollment in a specific course
