Gamecock Recovery

We promote a nurturing campus and community environment to ensure that all students in recovery can achieve academic and personal success.

Collegiate Recovery Community

You're in recovery when you say you are. Gamecock Recovery supports all pathways of recovery, strengthening the relationships, resources, and services that have already been working for you.

Our student community supports one another through social events, informal gatherings, and participation in campus traditions.

Peer-Based Recovery Support Meetings

We offer a variety of recovery meetings throughout the week. Peer-based recovery supports (also known as mutual support or self-help groups) facilitate the exchange of recovery skills, sharing of challenges, and celebration of successes among people with similar experiences.

Our meetings are centered on a variety of topics, including moderation support, meditation and mindfulness practice, boundary-setting, and self-care.

Current Meeting Schedule

Gamecock Recovery meetings are not held during the summer term. We will reopen our regular schedule on the first day of class in August, 2023.

Please consult the academic calendar for more information.
