Council Name Change

• Permission was granted to remove “achievement” from the council’s name (DEIA).  The new name is Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Council.  

 

Council of Academic Diversity Officers (CADO) Retreat

• Silvia Patricia Rios Husain and Kirsten Kennedy attended the CADO retreat held on May 9-10, and gave an overview.

• An executive summary of the listening tour reports is being finalized.
• The summary will include findings, recommendations, and steps to take going forward.
