Director for the University of South Carolina Press

The University of South Carolina invites applications and nominations for the position of Director for the University of South Carolina Press.  The Press Director is a 12-month staff position.

While reporting to the Provost and having direct interaction with the Provost and the University administration, the Director has complete autonomy in leading the Press. This administrator is responsible for the editorial, fiscal, and marketing strategies of the Press and supervises a staff of 10 publishing professionals.    Myers McRae Executive Search and Consulting is assisting the University of South Carolina with this search.  The start date is negotiable; however, having the person onboard no later than August 1, 2022, is preferred.
