Registering Valuables
You may register laptops, phones, tablets, bicycles, mopeds and other valuable property. Be sure to have handy any relevant serial numbers, make and model information, photos and S.T.O.P. tag numbers. You can use the link below to register your property.
Registering Bicycles & Mopeds
All bikes and mopeds must also be registered with Parking Services, according to university policy.
Engraving Property
We can engrave your valuables (computers, iPods, cell phones and more) with your last
name, first initial and last four numbers of your social security number. We then
store the information in a database in the event your item is stolen.
S.T.O.P. Tags for Laptops
You can get a S.T.O.P. (Security Tracking Of Office Property) tag for $20 at the Russell House Information Desk. The highly visible anti-theft tag and registration process deters theft by making the laptop nearly impossible to sell. Removal of the security plate physically alters the computer’s casing and reveals a “Stolen Property” tattoo that lies underneath the security plate.
