About this Fellowship
Supports doctoral candidates pursuing research (at a Canadian university or as Canadian citizens) on one of the Foundation's four themes: human rights and dignity, responsible citizenship, Canada in the world, and people and their natural environment.

Applicants in other disciplines whose work is relevant to the Foundation's themes are also eligible to apply. Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to up to fifteen doctoral students from Canada or abroad who have achieved high academic excellence and who demonstrate an interest in public policy and a willingness to learn in an interdisciplinary setting.
Deadlines are typically in December, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline
