First year residents will automatically have the Residential All Access Plan with $250 Meal Plan Dollars assigned to your account in July. Pricing will also be available at that time. To upgrade or add meal plan dollars, please contact the Carolina Card Office at (803) 777-1708.

 

 

Meal Plan Details & Definitions

Residential Dining Halls

Six all-you-care-to-eat dining halls spread conveniently throughout campus, each with its own in-house chef. Residential All Access Members enjoy unlimited access to any residential dining hall. Meal plan holders will receive free access to our reusable to-go program in residential dining halls (limit of 3 to-go meals per day).

Retail Restaurants

Any dining location on campus that is not one of our residential dining halls, including convenience stores.

Meal Swipes

Use meal swipes at any of our  retail restaurants or residential dining halls on campus. All six residential dining halls are all-you-care-to-eat for one swipe; meal swipes in retail restaurants offer preset combos that typically include an entree, side, and beverage. Visit our Meal Swipe Options page to see what is available for a meal swipe at each restaurant. There is a 30-minute pause between meal swipes to ensure meal plans are not being shared.

Meal Plan Dollars

Meal Plan Dollars are included in the price of meal plans. Use them at any of our on-campus dining locations just like a debit card. Add more MPDs at any point in the semester through the GET app or Carolina Card office. MPDs not used during the fall will roll over to the spring if you are still a member.
