    • Students will take Internal Distracters Self Quiz on the Concentration Handout
      • This quiz looks at distracters that occur while studying.  When else are you distracted during the day?  Why do you think you are?
      • Presenter will choose a concentration activity to facilitate with the class.
  • Listening Skills
    • Define subject matter
      • Presenter will facilitate discussion on listening skills.
        • What do you think of when you think of having listening skills?
        • What is the difference between listening and hearing? 
        • What strategies do you currently use to help you listen and pay attention in class? 
        • How could you improve your listening skills? 
    • Activity

  • Reading Comprehension
