Research and Teaching Interests

Dr. Sarzynski's Foundations of Lipids and Exercise (FLEX) laboratory employs an integrated -omics (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptomics, lipidomics, and diverse cellular assays) approach to identify and characterize the biological factors associated with the response of lipids and lipoproteins to behavioral interventions, particularly high density lipoprotein (HDL) particles. Dr. Sarzynski also has extensive experience and interest in research related to exercise genomics and personalized exercise medicine.
