Year 1: Collect data from the victims of the 2005 Graniteville Chlorine disaster and develop Irritant Gas Syndrome Agent (IGSA) Mass Casualty Triage Algorithm.

1. Complete data collection of victims from the chlorine disaster.
2. Analyze the data and finalize the development of the new IGSA Mass Casualty Triage Algorithm.
3. Establish an External Advisory Committee and several Focus Groups to provide feedback on the data analysis and Triage Algorithm.
4. Begin development of the Emergency Department Informatics Computational Tool (EDICT) that provides early detection of a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) and identification of the Toxic Inhalation Hazard (TIH) chemical MCIs. Focus Group to provide feedback on the app development.
5. Meeting of the entire External Advisory Board late Spring 2015.

Year 2: Develop EDICT

• 2-3 Focus Group meetings to provide feedback throughout the various stages of the app development.
• Meeting of the entire External Advisory Board late Spring 2016.

Year 3: Test the EDICT during a Full-Scale Mass Casualty Exercise

• 2-3 Focus Group meetings to provide feedback throughout the planning for the full-scale exercise.
• Meeting of the entire External Advisory Board late Spring 2017.

Year 4: Analyze Data and Disseminate Findings

• 2-3 Focus Group meetings to provide feedback on the entire research process.
• Meeting of the entire External Advisory Board to discuss findings and make recommendations for future work late Spring 2018.
