Established in 2004, the Center for Nursing Leadership at the University of South Carolina in Columbia is a statewide organization that works with health care organizations, clinicians, and educators in South Carolina and across the nation.

Through events, workforce and systems research, Big Data and analytics, advocacy, as well as leadership development programs, the Center for Nursing Leadership provides information and learning opportunities for current and aspiring nurse leaders. The Center supports nurse and other healthcare leaders in understanding the complexity of healthcare in order to improve practice, effectiveness, and the value of health care, which ultimately improves system and patient outcomes.
