Bio

Jason Trenary studied sound design, synthesis, piano performance, and composition at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. After receiving a B.M. from ACU, Jason continued his studies and received a M.M. from the University of South Carolina, studying music theory, information technology, and technology integrations in education. 

Jason has served as the Director of Information Technology for the School of Music since 1997, directing the computer, server, and network infrastructure and designing and implementing integrated information systems.  Jason also serves the office of the CIO as systems architect and program director for Apple device management for University of South Carolina campuses across the state.

Jason holds Apple Certified Technical Coordinator, Apple Certified System Administrator, XSan, and JAMF professional certifications. Jason is also an Apple Certified and Jamf Certified Trainer, as well as Jamf Certified field technician.  Sought for consulting by companies, universities, and K-12 school systems throughout the USA, Jason has built a reputation in the technical community as a systems architect and end point device management subject matter expert.

Jason lives in northeast Columbia with his wife and two children and enjoys the outdoors of South Carolina from its lakes and rivers to the beautiful beaches and rich history of the surrounding areas.
