Projects/News/etc. - Ms. Wacker started a German Club at RNE. They have "German Conversation Hour" (or Stammtisch) at a coffee house every other week. They meet for an hour and speak German (or as much as possible). Students from different levels (German I, II, and III) get a chance to meet and share ideas. They are also planning to meet with the German students from A.C. Flora a few times during the year.

They have also started a German Film Night. We will meet a few times during the year and watch and discuss a German movie.

Ms. Wacker is currently trying to set up an online chat with a German school with her German IIIs.

Projects/News/etc. - Airport is one of the first schools selected by the board of Education to add FL to their school report card. So Lexington 2 FL teachers are currently in the process of developing a standard FL curriculum. We are scheduled for our first evaluation in Spring of 08.
