USC Office of Technology Commercialization
Helping businesses and entrepreneurs identify, protect, and commercialize the University's intellectual property to benefit socienty and spur economic growth in the Midlands and South Carolina.

SC Launch
A private, not-for-profit SCRA affiliate and a key program of SCRA's Technology Ventures division, SC Launch supports the creation of knowledge-based companies and high wage-earning jobs, assists early-stage companies to commercialize their products and services, helps turn intellectual property from research universities and commercial markets into innovative technologies, and promotes industries that contribute to growing technology clusters in the state.

Small Business Development Center
Providers of business consultation to prospective and existing business owners with guidance and assistance in business plan review, financial analysis, marketing and advertising, business loan packaging assistance, accounting and financial management, government procurement, woman, veteran, family and minority owned business, technological advancement of small business and international trade, PTAC, industrial and manufacturing.

Center for Entrepreneurship & Technological Innovation (CETi)
A one-stop destination for all things entrepreneurial, including educational programs and customized resources for entrepreneurs preparing to launch technology and innovation-driven start-ups.

Facilities

USC-Columbia Technology Incubator
Providing physical space for startup companies and landing parties and resources including mentoring, start-up counseling, and service provider access, the USC incubator creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to commercialize their ideas, produce successful, financially viable and freestanding businesses, and create jobs.

USC SCRA Innovation Center
A 66,000-square foot facility in Columbia designed to accommodate business offices and clean next-generation manufacturing operations. SCRA is a provider of state-of-the-art wet labs, offices, and advanced manufacturing facilities. Their Research Parks and Innovation Centers are critical infrastructure for the Knowledge Economy, turning research into solutions and intellectual property into useful technologies.

IT-oLogy
A non-profit collaboration of businesses, academic institutions and organizations dedicated to growing the IT talent pipeline, advancing the IT profession, and co-locating IT companies in downtown Columbia.

Midlands Technical College Enterprise Campus
A colocation environment for business and education on the 150-acre Enterprise Campus at Midlands Technical College. This partnership between the college and the private sector provides an innovative space where work blends with education in a manner found nowhere else in the country.

IdeaLabs
Supporting the incubation of early-stage, technology-based companies with an affiliation to the University of South Carolina, IdeaLabs provides leasable wet and dry lab space in the state-of-the-art Horizon I research building.
