Innovista represents the physical manifestation of the University of South Carolina’s longtime research philosophy of nurturing innovation, creativity, discovery, and opportunity. The Carnegie Foundation has designated South Carolina as an institution of “very high research activity,” its highest distinction given to only 62 public research institutions.
