The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to announce the 2015 recipients of our signature spring award programs, Breakthrough Stars, which honors outstanding early-career faculty and Breakthrough Graduate Scholars, which recognizes exceptional graduate students.
The faculty and student scholars receiving Breakthrough awards this year enrich student experiences through their work as teachers and mentors, and raise the profile of our university through their research and scholarly accomplishments. Through their hard work and dedication, these distinguished individuals are building bright futures not only for themselves, but also for their students, colleagues, mentors and the University of South Carolina.
