Search Process

FTE Requests

The initial step in faculty recruitment is Provost Office and Budget Office approval of the FTE request.  This request will include anticipated search and hire dates, as well as rank, track, and other information about the position.  Once approved, the hiring authority can authorize advertisement of the position in print and online venues. The hiring authority selects the search committee and defines the scope of the search.
