Graduation and Retention Network

The University of South Carolina is committed to meeting the needs of students in every walk of life.

The Graduation and Retention Netowrk serves students who are outside of a formal degree program, whether temporarily or long term. This includes students who are taking classes for personal enrichment, students that need to further their coursework for a graduate or professional program, and senior citizens wishing to take advantage of the tuition waiver offered to residents of South Carolina who are 60 years or older. Transient students from other colleges and universities are also advisees of the office.

The Graduation and Retention Network office coordinates scheduling of a wide array of undergraduate courses in the evening and on weekends. In addition to full semester classes, accelerated courses that meet for half of a semester are offered to allow for faster progression toward degree goals. These courses are full academic credit courses taught by experienced and competent instructors that are open to all students at the university.
