What do aerospace engineering students study?

Aerospace engineering deals with the design, construction, and study of the science behind the forces and physical properties of aircraft, rockets, and spacecraft. The field also covers their aerodynamic characteristics and behaviors - airfoil, control surfaces, lift, drag and other properties.

Students of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at USC gain an understanding of aerodynamics, structures, vehicle dynamics and control and propulsion, which prepares them for careers in aerospace and related engineering fields.
